maya animation early days...

I was browsing my old harddrive and managed to find one of my first animations in maya.  The reference vid I did for this was even funnier (but I won't post that -_-).  I was supposed to animate a character trying to maintain balance (it looks bizarre without this context in mind!).

Animations from April 2013

Tisch's animation department offers a class -  "Action Analysis 2": - which is taught by John Canemaker.  If you're interested in animation (and you happen to go to NYU), you MUST take this course!  I honestly learned so much, and it was incredibly challenging to keep up with the exercises in 3D.

Here are some of the exercises I completed in the class - most of it's unfinished and pretty unpolished..

A man attempting flight

Mailing a love letter

Lip Sync

Expecting a cocktail, getting milk instead...

A character finds treasure...

and history was made...

It's my first blog post ever!  The reason I started this blog is to keep me updated in the world of animation, as well as to keep me updating my own personal stuff.

Small steps...
